Loree Lough
Once upon a time, USA Today best-selling author Loree Lough literally sang for her supper by performing for packed audiences throughout the U.S. and Canada. Now and then, she blows the dust from her six-string to croon a tune or two for her grandchildren. Mostly, however, she writes…and writes.
For nearly thirty years, Loree’s novels have earned hundreds of industry and Readers’ Choice awards, seven book-to-movie options, and thousands of four- and five-star reviews. She has written more than 130 books, with 14 million copies in circulation, and holds the Family Fiction title as the No. 1 Favorite Author of Amish Fiction.
A Christian who believes in giving back, Loree dedicates a portion of her writing income to numerous worthwhile charities and organizations. She and her husband share a home in the Baltimore suburbs and a quiet cabin in the Allegheny Mountains, where she continues to hone her skills in identifying “critter tracks.”
